SeaTwirl has appointed Peter Laurits as its new CEO
The wind power company SeaTwirl's Board of Directors has appointed Peter Laurits, Vice Chairman of the Board, as its new CEO, leaving his post and his role as Vice Chairman. The Board thanks the interim CEO Peter Schou for his efforts during the spring. Peter Laurits will take over immediately.
Klementina Österberg elected new chair of SeaTwirl
Wind power company SeaTwirl held an Extraordinary General Meeting in Gothenburg on April 8, 2020, after which the newly elected board has constituted itself. As planned, the board elected Klementina Österberg as new chair. Peter Laurits remains vice chair.
Jens Tommerup leaves the board to take a more operational role in the company’s newly established advisory group
The chair of the wind power company SeaTwirl, Jens Tommerup, leaves the board to spend more time in an operational role. Therefore, an advisory group has been formed, initially staffed by Jens Tommerup and Roger Cederberg, with the plan to recruit more advisors in the future. The board also announces the plan to elect Klementina Österberg as new chair of the board.

I hope this Xmas letter finds you well. The holidays and a new decade is just around the corner which is a suitable time for me to look back and reflect on what has happened during the year. SeaTwirl was invited by De Blauwe Cluster to do a pitch of the G-STIC conference in Brussels 21st November.
SeaTwirl partner in research program for wind farms
SeaTwirl is a partner in Train2Wind, a PhD training school that will analyze how wind currents are impacted by offshore wind farms. The conclusions will contribute to better planning and placement of wind farms.
