SeaTwirl participated in floating wind panel on Re:Wind

SeaTwirl’s CTO Jonas Boström was one of the panelists that discussed floating wind on Re:Wind which took place in Berlin on November 7-8.

The panel included participants from EnBW, Equinor, BWIdeol, Fred Olsen Seawind, Deep Offshore Wind and SeaTwirl. Jonas made the point that to make the best floating wind power, one need to think floating wind from the start, like SeaTwirl! The robust design with its low centre of gravity and few moving parts lowers the cost for both capex and opex, and since it has a vertical axis, it works better in wind farms.

Re:Wind is an international convention that each year is visited by representatives from the entire offshore wind value chain.
