Business Sweden has appointed SeaTwirl as one of the winners in the Smart Energy Catalyst 2022 class. The title is awarded each year to the companies in the program that Business Sweden believes have the greatest potential to scale up their business idea to a global level.
"That Business Sweden's jury believes in our technology, vision and business plan is an important proof that we are working in the right direction," says Peter Laurits, CEO at SeaTwirl.
Catalyst is Business Sweden's scale up program for Sweden's most innovative and promising companies. The companies that make it through the selection process receive an accelerator package of services towards international growth – including tailored commercialization support, advice and coaching in a selected market. In the class, SeaTwirl was named this year's winner together with X Shore, 100% Electric Boats and Evolar AB.
"The Catalyst program will provide us with an additional tool in our international expansion," says SeaTwirl's chairman Dan Friberg.
